This year the Camacho Liberty 2015 is a Nicaraguan puro with a Corojo for the first time in the history of the line which made its debut in 2001. The cigar which features a Corojo wrapper is limited to a production of only 40,000 cigars. This cigar's release is highly anticipated and comes wrapped in tissue paper inside the wood coffin and features a gorgeous red, white and blue cigar band. Once the cigar is lit the first note is a slight raspberry with cedar and a subtle spice through the nose and on the palate. Progressing through the first third of the cigar there is a note that tastes like a hard pretzel with a touch of mustard, elements of leather and continued cedar. The black pepper notes increase through the sinus passages as well as on the palate while notes of cedar remain strong and a slight spicy mustard left over from the previous third.
